The temperature has finally started to dip into the low 90's. I don't expect it to last very long, but I will take cooler temperatures any day. What I can't take is my computer showing me the Blue Screen of Death constantly! I have called tech support (who offered very minimal support), and it still is not resolved. Ho Hum!! At least I can get in the back way without the blue screen.
At Triple The Sketch this week, we combined 2 of my favorite things....Triple The Sketch and Shimmerz! All the TTS girls were able to play with the newest sketch and Shimmerz. All the Shimmerz girls did the same. Oh my goodness! The layouts and cards were absolutely stunning! I am SO blessed to be a part of these 2 amazing teams! Glad you got through the first week of school. We actually had some nights last week that dropped to low 68, 65 and 64!! That is extremely low for Louisiana ESPECIALLY in August. But the highs were still in the 90's.

Glad to hear the first week of school went off with a hitch. Too bad that there is sickness now. I heard it is heavy with Sinus, Strep,broncitis, and pnemonia in our area. Your week with all that is happening sounds just like mine only mine is not all school related. I just found out today I have a child with Dyslexia. That not only means more appointments for therapies and tutors but also 3 month evaluations for an IEP. You are such an inspirational mom that is I feel down I just read how your busy days are like lately and it gives me strength to get through mine. And not to mention I have a sports player now too (my youngest and only boy started flag football this year). And of course the oldest in 8th is in band and now signing on to see if she gets onto a club at school for dances, booth work, other community services etc. BUSY MOMS need to UNITE!!!!
